Exhibitions.

I'm going to be showcasing my Photography at two exhibitions in Glasgow, around June.
First is going to be a street exhibition, featuring lots of up and coming artists, from all over the country.
The second is a clubnight and will feature a small selection of up and coming photographers, and many top dj's, travelling all the way from international countries.
My live music/promotional and landscape photographs, will be on show at each.

I'll update with more information soon, and please come along, it would be lovely to see some familiar faces there.

Ipso Facto.

I was looking through my old photographs of Ipso Facto today, that were taken back in March, 2009. Only to notice a few really good shots that I missed out on uploading at the time! This is a black and white photo of their singer Rosie Cunningham, and bass player Samantha Valentine (who currently plays in Romance since the demise of Ipso Facto, by the way!)
I have to admit, they will always be one of my favourite bands that I have photographed, especially for their unique look.Nicola x

Business Cards.

As the title suggests, I ordered business cards for my photography, and they came through the post yesterday. I'm so excited about them, I actually want to hand one out to everyone but I really shouldn't, because the main reason I ordered them was to hand out at the exhibition I will be going to, and hopefully 100 cards will do! Maybe I'm getting abit ahead of myself here, but the festival itself attracts over 5000 people so...hm.
Anyway, here's the lovely cards I'm talking about (even though that looks like one full card on top, it's actually two, opposite eachother) If that makes any sense.

Beautiful By Design Poster.

I was browsing down Dexters Bar's myspace page, and noticed this little flyer with my photographs of Beautiful By Design, to promote their gig on the 28th May. How cool is that? Love it!
Anyway I suggest you get yourself down to this gig, it's gonna be a good one.

I ♥ Holga

Since my first roll of film on the Holga, I've been pretty much blown away, and although I haven't been taking too many photos on it lately, I finally got around to scanning in some from last year.
What I've really noticed is how I'd never realised how much film can be just as lovely as digital, I kind of tend to ignore it a lot, because of scanning, expenses, and not being able to view back the photo until process. Now, I can't wait to get my first roll of film developed from my Halina camera, I hope it processes as beautifully as I imagine it will. Film gives a certain dreamy, and romantic look to photos that no one can capture on digital.
Anyway, I'd love to know what you think about Holga cameras, or any film camera in general. Here's two of the Holga photos I've uploaded on myspace.

Hey everyone!

Edinburgh Photos.

On Saturday, I went on a little road trip to Edinburgh. One of the most beautiful cities in Scotland! Needless to say I took hundreds of photos, how could you possibly not...the place is gorgeous.
I don't really know what else to say other than the weather was perfect, the people were extra lovely, the shops were quirky and amazing, the food was good, and everyone seemed to be getting married, so I saw a lot of beautiful wedding cars.
I also seem to be in a much happier mood since, so smiles all round.
