The Agitator, HD Live Video.
You'll all know how much I love The Agitator by now, and if you don't, you should probably check out my two previous blog posts on them.
I never give up the chance to see this band live, they have such an energetic and unique performance, and not to forget the message they are creating with their music, and the NO!-ism movement.
The gig was once again at The Captain's Rest in Glasgow, but this time I decided to record an HD Video of the guys, and since they have so many incredible songs, I have compiled a few of them into one video.
Please check it out, and go see The Agitator live, they are back in Glasgow, May 13th.

My Fallen Idea, Live Photos & Video.

I took the photos with my new camera, and I'm still trying to get the hang of it, so let me know what you think.
I also took a video of My Fallen Idea performing their song 'Coast', which is uploaded to my Vimeo and Youtube accounts, but I've also attached it below. Check it out!

Edinburgh HD Video!
As you may have read in my previous blog post, I have started recording HD Videos!
Last weekend I planned to go through to Edinburgh to go shopping, and realised it would be great timing to record some of my favourite sites and compile them into a video!
Edinburgh is the most beautiful city I have ever visited, and anyone who knows me will already know how much I love the place. It's gorgeous! The architecture, buildings, memories, people, history...I really could go on forever about how perfect the city is, but I'll save it for the video to do the talking!
Check it out, I hope you all enjoy.

HD VIDEO!
Hey everyone,
Wow, have I got a treat for you or what!....I finally bought my new camera a couple of weeks ago, and I am now able to record videos, in HD!....How exciting?!!!
On Thursday I managed to take advantage of the beautiful afternoon sunshine in Broughty Ferry, and recorded some footage. I've uploaded it onto Vimeo. Have a look below, and tell me what you think. Keep in mind it's only my first video (and shakey hands are at large, haha)
Enjoy.

Hello 2011...
Hey everyone,
I hope you all had a lovely new year! If you have my Photography account added on Facebook, you will probably already know that I have some very very exciting things coming up this year. These will all be revealed soon, but for now, I'm going into a little bit of a hibernation mode (really because I have a lot of editing to finish!)
However, I'll keep you all updated on any news.
At the moment I want to show you my new website front page, the image is animated so it changes through a few of my favourite photos.
Let me know what you think about it, http://www.nicolasharkeyphotography.com

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Merry Christmas everyone!
Although I normally do this at new year...I thought I would give you lovely people a Christmas treat instead!
I have compiled a video with my years worth of photography highlights. I also thought this would give me the perfect opportunity to thank everyone who has been involved with my work this year. Including bands, promoters, managers, magazine editors, bloggers, and creators of events such as Artfusion and Exposure. I have had an incredible time, and I have met some of the most amazing people this year. Truly inspiring.
I feel like I may be getting a little sentimental...so I'll move onto the video.
I hope you all enjoy it!
Thanks.

The Agitator, Glasgow, Live Photos.
Last night, The Agitator were back in Scotland again, this time at Glasgow's Captain's Rest (one of my favourite venues!) and their drummer Robert, put me on guestlist for the photos I had taken of them back in October, so I went along to see them play. They are seriously one of my favourite new bands at the moment so I couldn't resist taking another set of photographs. I really enjoyed their set, and so did everyone else in the crowd. Go check them out on the rest of their tour, Manchester tonight, finishing with a couple of London gigs.
Onto the photos.
Onto the photos.
I thought I would also add in a photo below of Robert from The Agitator with me, when I met him at the gig.
